In 2012, Jannelle Fukuoka opened the doors to Maui Manjookies with a vision to create a modern omiyage that truly represents the island of Maui. Inspired by tradition and driven by creativity, what began as a heartfelt idea has grown into one of Maui’s most recognized handcrafted confections.
Manjookies are Jannelle’s reimagined take on a nostalgic local favorite. Each piece is thoughtfully hand-rolled using premium ingredients and house-made fruit blends inspired by Hawaiʻi’s most beloved flavors passion guava, lilikoi, pineapple, and seasonal creations that reflect the rhythm of the islands. Careful technique, small-batch preparation, and attention to detail ensure a consistently creamy, buttery texture in every bite.
